To improve visibility into occupancy performance, Ending Occupancy Goal and Ending Occupancy Variance are now available as optional columns on the Occupancy Report. Since this report is most often used for daily insights, the update ensures consistency with the Occupancy Detailed Weekly Report and makes it easier to track performance against configured goals.
Previously, these metrics were only available on the Occupancy Detailed Weekly Report. The Occupancy Report now follows the same logic, displaying the ending goal when a reporting period spans multiple goal timeframes. I.e. if the time period selected was 1/1/25-4/30/25, April's goal and variance would be displayed.
Column Metrics:
Ending Occupancy: Goal
The occupancy goal for the ending timeframe, as configured in Global Setup → Goals → Occupancy.
Ending Occupancy: Variance
The variance between actual ending occupancy and the configured occupancy goal.
These columns are not displayed by default and can be added by selecting Edit Columns.
When selected, these columns appear under the Ending Occupancy section of the report.
When the Occupancy Report is grouped by criteria where an occupancy goal or variance cannot be calculated, the Goal and Variance columns will appear blank for those rows.
