*Note: This article discusses how you receive notifications in WelcomeHome. To learn about how to set them up, please read our "How do I manage my notifications settings?" article.
In WelcomeHome, you are able to customize how you receive notifications within your profile setup. There are two main ways you will be notified:
- E-mail: You will get an email sent to you from WelcomeHome to your integrated email account.
- Push: You will get a notification on your phone from the WelcomeHome app. You'll have to enable notifications for the WelcomeHome app in your phone settings to receive these.
The push/banner style notifications will almost always be in the app. The web notifications will be sent via email, and you'll see those notifications reflected on the website with red notification bubbles on the prospect profile, Day Planner and navigation pages.
Incoming Calls
When you are on the website, the only push notification you may see is an incoming call pop-up. This is turned on in some communities to let people know when a lead is calling the provisioned number. You cannot accept this call from the pop-up. It's simply there to alert the community that a prospect is reaching out. The call will be routed to your community line for your front desk to answer and transfer accordingly.
Unread Emails
When you have a new email response from someone replying to an email you sent from WelcomeHome, you will see an Unread Email notification on their prospect profile. If you read this in your external email before checking their prospect profile, you will not see this notification. It will only appear if you haven't read the email on WelcomeHome or your external email.
When you have a new message to view, you'll see a number in a red circle by the activities tab indicating the number of unread emails there are for the prospect, as well as a new section titled Unread Emails where you can mark the email as read, view or reply. Doing any of these three actions will clear out the red notification. To learn more, you can read this Unread Emails article.
Messages
In the Messenger tab, you'll get a red notification icon when a new message comes into a thread. If you have enabled push notifications on the app, you will also see notifications on your phone that will vary depending on what permissions you set up for the app on your device.
