WelcomeHome offers updated features for completing an integrated phone call activity.
1. Initiate a call from either the Day Planner under "Scheduled Activities" or directly from the Prospect/Referrer Profile.
- On the Day Planner, click the orange "Call Now" button under the prospect's name to call.
- On the Prospect/Referrer Profile page, click the "Call" under the desired contact to call.
2. Once a call is initiated, you will see the following box appear:
3. The numbers you have set up in your profile will be the available numbers to call from. Select which phone you will be making the call from (cell, desk, etc.). Click the "Call" button on the bottom right to start the call and the following page will appear when the call is being placed:
*NOTE: Notes can now be minimized from the top right-hand corner of this modal, by clicking (next to the X). This allows you to go to any screen in WelcomeHome and edit information like in the Prospect Profile, for example below.
This minimized note modal can also be moved around to any part of the screen as to avoid it obscuring what you are looking at. Make sure to click Save Notes before moving on to the next activity.
4. The modal you see next will depend on if the call is still in progress or if the call has ended. Either type your notes and click "Save Notes" or you may choose to "Skip Notes". You will see the following appear if your call is in progress:
5. You can either click "Edit Notes" or "OK" to complete the activity. The activity is automatically marked as complete.
Keep in mind, WelcomeHome makes a distinction between "attempted" and "completed" calls. A completed call is important to track your successful communication with the prospect and their place in the sales cycle. For this reason, the system traditionally tracks calls over 1 minute that are marked "Completed" and tied to a prospect name as "Complete" for recording purposes.
*NOTE: If your call is under 1 minute, this modal will appear and you will now be able to select if you were able to connect or if you left a message. You can always go back into the activity and edit the result of the call as well.
