On the day planner, you will notice an area called 'Unknown Inbound Calls'.
If you give out your community provisioned phone number and someone who is not currently a prospect, influencer, or referrer within WelcomeHome calls back, they will now show up as an "Unknown Inbound Call." This shows that someone called that phone number but WelcomeHome cannot match it to a current prospect profile in order to log the call for you.
If you know who this number belongs to you can click the three little dots in the corner to link it to a current record (prospect, influencer, or referrer). You can also select the type of phone number: cell, home or work phone number.
If you do not know who this phone number belongs to, you can click the three dots to edit. Within the edit button, you can listen to the phone call and decide if there is an already an existing record to link it to.
If this person does not exist in WelcomeHome, you can keep it here, call the number back, dismiss it, or add a new prospect. Once the new prospect has been added to the system, you can link the phone call. It will then log it as an inbound phone call.
This feature allows you to use your provisioned phone number more frequently and to log unknown inbound phone calls. The unknown inbound call will stay on your day planner until you link it or dismiss it.
*To Note - Unknown Inbound Calls will be auto dismissed after 2 weeks if they have not been reviewed by a user.
Dismissed Unknown Inbound Call List:
In order to preserve the insights that may be derived from dismissed unknown calls, WelcomeHome provides a list page on the Day Planner for viewing dismissed unknown calls.
Accessing the list page is done by clicking the "View Dismissed Inbound Calls" link at the bottom of the Day Planner Sidebar.
*To Note - The "View Dismissed Inbound Calls" link will only be present when the community has dismissed unknown inbound calls to view.
By choosing "View Dismissed Inbound Calls" a page list will emerge and the Unknown Inbound Calls will provide users the options, just like on the Day Planner, to link, listen, or call the phone number.
