This guide explains how to convert a prospect record to a referrer in WelcomeHome. Following these steps ensures that essential contact information is preserved while properly managing referral records in WelcomeHome.
Steps to Convert a Prospect to a Referrer
1. Open the Prospect’s Profile
Navigate to the prospect’s profile.
Make sure you are on the “Summary” tab.
2. Access More Options
Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
3. Select “Convert to Referrer”
From the dropdown, click Convert to Referrer.
4. Review Changes
⚠️ Important: Converting a prospect to a referrer will:
Remove the prospect profile.
Create a new referrer profile instead.
5. Choose an Organization
You will be prompted to select the organization the new referrer should be associated with.
Click to select the appropriate organization.
6. Add a New Organization (if needed)
If the referrer should be linked to a new organization, click “Add a New Organization.”
7. Convert
Once complete, click Convert to finalize the conversion.
✅ After completing these steps, the prospect is now converted into a referrer and associated with the correct organization.
