Things happen and sometimes, we need to close a prospect when they choose another community, when communication has ceased, or when they pass away.
Closing a Prospect
To get to the Prospect Profile, you can search for a specific Prospect via the universal search bar at the top of WelcomeHome or go to the list of Prospects by clicking on the blue Prospects tab on the left-hand side of the screen and then select who you're looking to close.
Next, from the Summary page of the Prospect profile in the top right hand section of their profile, you will find a "Close" button, next to the "Move In" stage.
Click the "Close" button.
From there, a new window will pop up where you will select a Close Reason from the dropdown menu.
Below that, you will also be asked if you would like to cancel all scheduled activities pertaining to the prospect and if you would like to remove the prospect from the waitlist. Check off the boxes if yes and leave unchecked if no.
If death is selected as the Close Reason, the Prospect modal will display specific messaging and hide standard checkbox options.
The system automatically:
- Marks the prospect as deceased
- Updates communication preferences to Do not call/email/mail/text
- Removes the prospect from the waitlist
Cancels all scheduled activities
Reopening a Prospect
Should you need to reopen the prospect, go to the prospects tab and select then select "Stage". Be sure to check the option of including the closed prospects, then hit search.
From the new list of results, you will be able to find all of your closed prospects. Select the prospect who you wish to reopen. Then in the top righthand corner, select the "Reopen" button.
