Prospects can be added from two different places..
1. Click the green circle in the bottom right corner of the screen
2. Navigate to the prospects tab using the left hand navigation bar and click "add a new prospect"
You will be taken to a 4 step wizard to fill out. The only information that is required is a first and last name for either the prospect or the main influencer. It is encouraged to add as much information as you currently have available and continue to edit and add to the profile as you learn more.
Step 1: Prospect
Add initial prospect and influencer information such as:

Prospect First & Last Name- the name of the individual seeking senior living
- Add 2nd Resident- in the case of two prospects inquiring together (husband & wife)
- Add in the contact information for the prospect and any influencers as you begin inputting more contacts. It is important to add as much contact information as available to ensure you are able to contact each person through WelcomeHome.
- Influencer First & Last Name- the name of your main point of contact for this prospect
- Relationship- the relationship between the influencer and the prospect
- Primary Lead Source- how did this lead come to inquire at your community?
- Primary Referrer- if this prospect was referred to your community by an individual, search for the referrer by typing their name. You can also "+Add a New Referrer". Select this to quickly add a new referrer. You can search for an existing organization from here, or create a new one. If you choose to only input a Primary Referrer, the corresponding Primary Lead Source associated will automatically populate for you. **Note: if the lead source that populates is not the correct source for the chosen Referrer, the lead source chosen within the Referrer's organization will need to be changed.
- Secondary Lead Source/Referrer- allows for the inclusion of an additional lead source, if applicable. This field functions consistently with the process outlined above.
Step 2: Details
Add additional prospect and influencer information such as:
- Birthdate- if added, age will auto-calculate
- Age
- Sex- female, male, non-binary
- Marital Status
- Veteran Status
- Current Residence-where is this prospect currently living?
- Expected Move Timing- when is this prospect looking to move?
- Current Caregiver- how is this prospect currently receiving care?
- Care Type- AL, IL, MC, etc...
- Likelihood of Moving from Home- scale from “Very Unlikely” to “Very Likely”
- Familiarity with Community- scale from “Not at All” to “Extremely”
Step 3: Life Story
- Prospect Story- this is a free form text box, add any and all pertinent prospect information here
- Care Needs- what types of care needs does this prospect have? Select all that apply
- Decision Criteria- what factors are the prospect/influencer considering when choosing a community
- Interests & Hobbies- prospect’s interests and hobbies- select all that apply
Step 4: Next Steps
The last step is to add your next activity with the prospect/influencers. To add an activity, click "Add an activity" or "log an activity." This will allow you to either schedule a new activity or log an activity that you have already completed.
Make sure to click the "finish" button to save your new prospect!
