Sending and receiving emails in WelcomeHome is supposed to be easy and convenient so we understand how frustrating it can be when there are obstacles in the way. This article will go through some common problems and accompanying solutions:
Setting Up your Profile in WelcomeHome:
In order to make and receive emails through WelcomeHome, you must have a valid email on your profile. We recommend using your work email, and then integrating your email with WelcomeHome via the "Integrated Email/Calendar" tab to the left of your profile.

Sending an Email in WelcomeHome:
There are a couple places you can easily send an email in WelcomeHome:
1. From the Day Planner:
- If you go to the Day Planner, you should be able to see your scheduled activities on the far-right side of the screen.
- Any scheduled email will have the Prospect's name, the number of days away from the due date, the ability to mark the activity complete, and the ability to "Email Now".
- If you click on "Email Now", you will be able to make a call with the number(s) you provided in your profile. (If you find that the "Email Now" button is grayed out, check to make sure the Prospect has an email associated with them)

2. From the Prospect Profile:
- A prospect profile can be found via the Prospect tab or by searching for a specific prospect through the universal search bar at the very top of the screen.
Common Issues & Solutions:
Why am I unable to email a prospect or multiple prospects in WelcomeHome?
- After checking that your email is attached and working properly, check the Prospect(s) you're interested in emailing to make sure they have an email on their profiles and that they do not have "Do not email" toggled per their request. If this is turned on, you won't be able email them, so you'll have to choose a different method of contact.

Why is my Outlook opening when I try to send an email through WelcomeHome?
- This happens when your email integration hasn't been set up yet or if the connection has been interrupted or disconnected. If this happens, you'll have to set up the integration again through your Profile.

Why am I not receiving any emails in my inbox?
- The email(s) you're looking for could have gone to spam, so always check your spam box to be sure. However, if the emails still aren't showing, please contact our Support team so we can further investigate.
Why isn't a prospect receiving emails from me?
- We advise that the prospect check their spam folders as well
- Check that the email in their profile is the right email or that emails are being sent to the intended email of prospect/influencer (perhaps the email went to their work email instead of their personal)
- They could have "Do not email" toggled on but wish to have it toggled off
