An activity can be pinned within your Day Planner or within the prospect/referrer profile.
Pinning an activity within your Day Planner
What does pinning an activity within your Day Planner do?
Once an activity is pinned in your Day Planner, it will float to the top of your Scheduled Activities or if you have the Day Planner sorted by activity type, it will float to the top of that activity type. This is meant to show which activities on your Day Planner are the most important for the day.
How do you do it?
To pin an activity on your Day Planner, hover over the activity with your mouse. You'll see a gray pushpin icon to the right of the activity. Click on this pushpin icon and your activity will be pinned. Refresh your screen and the activity will now be at the top. You can also unpin the activity by clicking on the pushpin icon once more.

What does pinning an activity within the prospect/referrer profile do?
Once an activity is pinned within a specific prospect or referrer profile, the activity will float to the top of the completed activities for that particular individual. This is meant to flag your most important activities, such as ones with important notes so that they filter to the top of your completed activities list.
How do you do it?
To pin an activity within a specific prospect or referrer profile, navigate to the prospect or referrer. Then go to the "Activities" tab. Find the activity you would like to pin and click the gray pushpin icon to the right of the activity. Refresh your screen and that activity will now show up at the top of the list. You can also unpin the activity by clicking on the push pin icon once more.
