Regional and Admin users have the ability to add monthly activity and stage advance goals for Prospects and Referrers on the Activities vs Goal (MTD) card on the Overview Page. This function automatically tracks the progress of the goals by the users at the community.
- Within the Activities vs Goal card, the goal number will show to the right of the goal progress bar in blue/gray.
- If the goal is reached or surpassed, the number will show in green; if the goal has not yet been reached, it will show in red.
- The black line denotes a pacing line to show about where the user should be to achieve the goal by the end of the month.
You can have user-based goals, where you can assign a goal per sales counselor. You will see the ability to view their aggregate goals, as well as an individual sales counselor's progress to date.
You can also have community-based goals, which counts all completed activities made towards the goal, regardless of user.
Adding a New Goal
Use the plus (+) icon in the top right-hand corner to add/edit the prospect/referrer goals. When adding a goal, first select if the goal is an Activity Type Goal or a Stage Goal for Prospects or Referrers.
For activity goals, you can select if the goal will count "only successful" activities or "any result". You can also enter in a start and/or end date for a goal if you want to change a goal over time or make it temporarily inactive.
For stage advance goals, you will only need to add the numerical value in the Monthly Goal section once you select the stage or stages. Make sure to select "Create" to save your goals.
Edit a Goal
You can click the Edit button on an existing goal to make changes like adjusting the active months.
- If you add a Start Date, the goal will be active starting on that date
- If you add an End Date, the goal will be be inactive starting on that date
You can use these date fields to adjust the monthly goals. By putting an end date on the initial goal, you can then click + Add a Monthly Goal to create a new version with a different numerical goal. This allows you to change your goals based on community needs, while maintaining the historical accuracy of your data.
