This is an automation trigger that allows admins to create an automation centralized on a community's scheduled event. This brings the opportunity of setting up a custom automation that can send a variable of action capabilities, such as an Email or Text, when Event Attendance is Recorded or an Event RSVP is Received.
Note: If you contact WelcomeHome Support to make automation changes, you will need admin approval if you are not a user with those permissions.
Click on your User Name in the top right corner and select Global Setup from the drop-down menu list.
Once in the Global Setup, you can choose Automations in the left hand menu or in the Automations box to see more.
Once in the Automations Setup, choose the green "New Automations" button to create your custom automation.
You’ll first be prompted to give the automation a name, select the type of profile it should be tied to—either a referrer or a prospect—and then apply any desired filters.
You then will be prompted to add a Trigger for this automation.
You may then select from the two relevant event trigger options within the dropdown.
The first option is: Event Attendance Recorded
By selecting the Event Attendance Recorded trigger, there is the capability of adding an Attendance Status Filter. This prompts the trigger to occur based on if the guest attendance is set to go out as Attended or Not Attended.
The second option is: Event RSVP Received
By choosing the Event RSVP Received trigger, there is now the ability to add a RSVP Status Filter. This prompts the trigger to occur based on the RSVP status, Accepted, Declined or Not Sure, of the event guest list.
Once the automation actions have been completed and the automation itself is reviewed, hit the blue "Create Automation" button to confirm the automation setup.
