When two residents share a room, sometimes one resident will need to move out, while the second resident stays. This might be because of a resident passing away or needing a higher level of care. In WelcomeHome, when two people share a room, you can easily move out one of the residents, while leaving the other.
*Note: If you have an integration with a billing software of EMR you should NOT be doing the below in WelcomeHome. Move-out notices will push back into WelcomeHome from your EMR.
1. Start on the Occupancy Board in WelcomeHome
2. Find the pair of residents that you are interested in and click on one of their names. From the resident summary page, you will be able to Move Out the resident.
Select the "Move Out" button in the bottom right.
3. Once selected, fill out the pop-up form. At the bottom of the form, you will see a set of check boxes where you can select which residents are moving out. In this case, the resident that is moving out should be checked.
4. Click the blue "Save" button in the bottom right and you are done.
