The Day Planner within WelcomeHome can be used to place phone calls.
First, the activity will have to be scheduled in the planner. Read How Do I Schedule An Activity? to learn how to schedule an activity.
1. Navigate to the activity within the Day Planner. To access the Day Planner, find the Day Planner tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. From the column titled "Scheduled Activities" on the right hand side of the screen, find the call that you would like to complete and click on the orange "Call Now" text under the desired activity.
(NOTE: read Why Don't I see the "Email Now" or "Call Now" Buttons on my Day Planner? if the Call Now text does not appear.)
3. Once you click Call Now, you will see this screen:
Note:
- The top field shows the contact number for the Prospect, Influencer, or Referrer you are calling.
- The "From:" field is where you can select the device you would like to place the call from (i.e.- cell phone, desk phone, etc.)
- At the very bottom, you can see the phone number provisioned for your community. This is the number the prospect will see when they receive an incoming call from you.
4. Press the Blue CALL button in the bottom right corner of the form to start the call.
5. Once the call has been placed, a window will appear to record your notes, if you so choose. You can also choose to skip the notes by clicking the button on the left-hand side of the window. In addition, you can also click the microphone icon above the note text box to activate voice to text.
6. Once you have reached the end of your call, you can select either "Skip Notes" or "Save Notes" depending on if you wrote any. From there, another window will pop up to inform you that your call is still in progress. You can either go back to your notes by selecting "Edit Notes," or click "Okay" to save them and return to your previous screen.
7. As long as your call was longer than 1 minute, your activity will automatically complete. If the call went to voicemail, was shorter than 1 minute, or was not able to be completed for any other reason, you will manually need to enter that activity result by either clicking the pencil icon to edit on their prospect profile or by clicking the 3 dots next to the activity on your day planner.
