How do I complete an email activity on my Day Planner?
Email activities are designed to be made through the system. This way, the email is automatically recorded, and the system can track opens and link clicks. To complete the activity from your Day Planner, follow the steps below.
- Find the activity on your Day Planner and click the orange “Send Email” button
*Note: If the "Send Email" button does not appear, it could be 1 of 2 issues:
- The person you are trying to email does not have an email address in WelcomeHome- click on the first name to navigate to the prospect profile to check.
- A person was not selected within the activity- edit the activity by clicking on the 3 gray dots to the right of the activity and then click on edit. Then add a person in the "People" field if empty.
- The email address will be pre-populated. Select a message template from the drop-down menu or craft the body of your email. Note that message templates are added by your leadership.
- Add any attachments if applicable.
You can further customize your text by using the buttons that are right below the subject line. Change the font, text size, text color, highlight and indent your text.
Additionally, use the following buttons to insert an image, insert a link, insert an attachment from your computer, or insert an attachment from the knowledge center.
4. When ready, click “Send”.
- Your email will be sent, the activity will be removed from your Day Planner, and the completed activity will be added to the prospect’s profile. If you have email integration turned on, this email will show up in your sent folder.
