When you add an organization, you select the type of lead source associated with all referrers under that are added to the organization. This link between lead source and referrers is reflected on the Prospect tab of the prospect profile.

When you go to that tab and select a Primary/Secondary Lead Source, you will only be able to select referrers under an organization with that lead source. Conversely, if you add a referrer first on that tab, the lead source will auto-populate with whatever the referrer organization's lead source is.
If you are trying to select a specific lead source and notice that you are unable to then select the referrer you want or if you are selecting a referrer and the wrong lead source is populating, you will need to:
- Go to the Referrers tab
- Click on Organizations and click on the one tied to your referrers
- Once there, click on the Organization tab under Summary
- Change the Type of Lead Source
- Click update to save
